MARKET OBSERVATIONS

• The market is attempting to move from being a

sellers market to a buyers market.

• We are watching as sellers are not able to obtain

the amount they want for their homes and condos –

so hence the price reductions happening.

• However, the median sales prices are not reducing,

they are holding steady.

MARKET OPINION

• More inventory will be coming in the way of real

estate re-sale.

• Sellers are going to have more competition

regarding keeping home buyers attention.

• We are going to see a “typical-seasonal” buyer

increase come the end of the 1st quarter of 2014.

• However, the market will not shift from being a

sellers to a buyers market unless we have an

overabundance of inventory enter the “re-sale”

market.

REAL ESTATE BUYERS TIPS

• Get prequalified by both a main line bank and a

Mortgage Broker

• Obtain copies of your credit report from the first

lender you interview

• Make sure you ask your Realtors Opinion as to who

you should be working with in the lending profession

• Work with only local real estate agents – Team or

Solo is okay, Google Them!!!

REAL ESTATE SELLERS TIPS

• Look at the current value of your home in an apples

to apples comparison

• Ensure those Realtors you are interviewing are

giving you factual information

• Be weary of the Estimates obtained on-line for your

properties value

• The Real Estate companies reputation is as

important as your chosen Realtor’s reputation.

• Due Diligence is the key to hiring the BEST!
