Jaipur is the well known city not only in India but also in whole world. It is also
known by the name – “Pink city”, because here most of the monuments and structures are colored in pink. It was found in the year
1721 by Maharaj Sawai Singh II and is spread across 111.8 sq kms and is located at a height of 1,414 feet above the sea level.
Other than this, Jaipur is major tourist destination and is rankled 7th best place to visit in Asia. Along with this, Jaipur is well
planned and developed according to Vasthu and each street and market has direction
from East to West and North to South. Although the majority of the population is
of Hindu, consist of 77% and rests are Muslims 17%, Jains 4% and Christians 2%
respectively.
