Before the first residents even moved into Ellenbrook, we had big plans for the town centre. We set aside space and committed to providing a place that would meet the needs of not only our residents, but also become a centre for those living in the surrounding areas.

These plans for the town centre are now coming to fruition and we have seen a lot happening over the last few months, as well as anticipating more to come in 2014.

Here is a snapshot of what has been happening over the last few months and an update on our future plans:

Reveley The Reveley precinct provides a range of residential living options in

the heart of our town centre. Over the last few months we have concluded Phase 1 of civil construction, which included the completion of the first park. The second park for this area is now in detail design stage for council approval and we anticipate we will be able to commence construction in the next few months.

We will also be releasing more house and land packages over the coming months, so keep an eye on our website ellenbrooktowncentre.com.au for more details and check out our story over the page.

PaRkway and CentRal PaRk Last year we saw Parkway open up to traffic and just this month

we have completed the soft landscaping for Central Park. The construction of the first of three artworks will almost be complete (at the time of publication) and is the tallest of our pieces – at a whopping 12 metres high!

This beautiful park will provide yet another recreational space in the heart of our town centre.

Stay tuned for details on community events using this location coming later in 2014.

United PetRol Station Construction of a much needed second service station in Ellenbrook

is now complete. The service station is located opposite Bunnings on Locke Lane.

CommeRCial SaleS Last year we released some commercial lots in the Ellenbrook Town Centre

and recently sold at 1.6 hectare site, that is set to become a new business park and homemaker centre for Ellenbrook.

We also sold three commercial lots on the Promenade to national retailers who are looking to commence construction later this year.

Keep an eye on our facebook page – facebook.com/LWPEllenbrook for updates and announcements.

Urban living at REVELEYWe launched our Reveley precinct to the market in late 2013 and to date our house and land packages have been selling well.

Buyers have been attracted to our concept of stylish urban living provided by Reveley - a place that is close to the amenities of the town centre and is low maintenance.

We have just released our second phase of Reveley in partnership with the ABN Group.

The house and land packages start from $377,000 and each home contemporary home features quality fixtures and fittings; including a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, stone benchtops, floor coverings, blinds, a home technology pack and landscaping – meaning buyers can literally just move in.

For more details about Reveley visit ellenbrooktowncentre.com.au or phone the Information & Sales Office on 9297 9999.

FIFO FamiliesWe are proud to have committed to a long term partnership with the group FIFO Families. Given Ellenbrook’s relative proximity to the airport and lifestyle, we have found we have a lot of FIFO families living in our development.

FIFO Families is a network for FIFO Families to come together to share their experiences of FIFO life.

As part of our partnership with FIFO Families, we ran an event on March 11, 2014 at The Grapevine in Charlottes Vineyard. More information to come after the event.

Annie’s Landing Display Village commencing construction soonWith the first titles on homesites at Annie’s Landing now coming in, the first residents of our final Ellenbrook village will be able to commence building soon.

This also means the Display Village for Ellenbrook has been able to commence construction.

With anticipated opening in October of this year, the new Display Village will feature 28 homes from WA’s top builders, including Dale Alcock, Celebration, Ross North, Ventura and RedInk.

Update from the City of SwanWe asked the team from the City of Swan Ellenbrook Place Team to provide us with an update of what is happening in and around Ellenbrook.

• The northern playing fields at the Ellenbrook District Open Space are progressing well. City contractors are now working on the establishment of the turf, garden beds and park furniture. It is expected that the playing fields will be practically completed in July. Construction will start on the Community Building associated with these playing fields in late March and will take 14 months to construct.

• The City has lobbied hard for the construction of the Perth-Darwin National Highway, also known as the Swan Valley Bypass and NorthlinkWA. The new road will improve freight efficiency by introducing an alternate north-south freight route and will relieve pressure on Great Northern Highway through the Swan Valley. Work is scheduled to start on the 37 kilometre project in 2016.

• The City is planning a major upgrade of Gnangara Road, from Drumpellier Drive to Alexander Drive. This will involve the construction of a second carriageway parallel to the existing alignment plus upgrades to intersections. A major project, it is anticipated that construction work will be completed in 2016. Efforts will be taken to minimise the impact on local and commuter traffic, but there may be some disruption to road users during construction and the City urges people to plan their journeys with this in mind.
