The M.E.P. (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) studies office with the title Cambicci+Associates was founded in February 2007 by Gerasimos Kampitsis (Yerasimo Cambicci), Mechanical Engineer of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, following his work experience in electromechanical design and supervision since February 1992. Furthermore the office was manned with electrical and mechanical en-gineers aiming at the technologically sufficient and on time preparation of m.e.p. studies and supervisions. A consulting and engineering services company was legally constituted in 2012. The scope of our office in its current form is: • The elaboration of m.e.p. installations studies, for all types of projects (buildings, urban design and infrastructure). • Renewable energy systems design • Nearly zero energy buildings design • Energy feasibility inspections and evaluation of buildings • Obtaining permits and licences for buildings and installations • Lighting Studies • Supervision for all of the above subjects. • Consulting Services as a Project Manager

Our services are provided either by choice, or via competition in the premises of either the “Design & Construct System” or the Greek S.D.I.T. system(collaborations of the public and private sector). The engineering studies that are elaborated pertain to buildings to be constructed or renovations and extensions of existing ones. The mechanical electrical & plumbing studies, referred as mep studies (or building services or electrical mechanical studies) are an im-portant component of the whole of the technical studies necessary for the completion of all projects, and they can be divided into the fol-lowing categories: Mechanical Electrical & Plumbing Studies Buildings

• Water Supply (pipe networks of potable water, hot-cold water supply networks and recirculation networks, production of hot water, solar panel systems(classical or of “void” type), storage tanks and pumping systems.

Our offices are in Pylaia, Thessaloniki and we undertake projects in the whole of Greece and the neighboring countries. Outside of Thes-saloniki we have offices-contact points in Athens, Thessalia & Thrace. The office is fully equipped in personnel and technological equipment for the elaboration of mep projects. In our organogram there is an administration division, an engineering studies division, a services division, a cost analysis division, a quality control division and a secre-tarial services division. The electronical equipment of our offices, regarding computer based devices and software, is based on the princi-ple of optimal available and reliable technology and includes a sufficient number of work spaces, computers, a network Server, and high quality software. There is software for the electromechanical design, software regarding Legislation and scientific literature (International and Greek) and software for the cost analysis of Public Sector Projects.
