Many young Americans are aware of the potential with real estate investing, and they are ready to get involved.
The question is how old do you need to be to get involved, and what do you need to do to be a success at real estate investing?
To get involved in real estate investing, you need to be at least 18 years old to obtain a mortgage loan.
This doesn’t restrict young teens with cash. There are reports that teens have gotten involved and done quite well, (this isn’t suggested without a proper education in flipping properties).

The reality of the situation is house flipping is yielding more dollars per deal than ever before.
The opportunity to build wealth shouldn’t be hindered because you are young, and once you are 18 years of age, there is no one standing in your way, provided you can obtain funding.
It is important that with property flipping, risk is involved. Just having an understanding of buying and selling isn’t enough.
You should obtain an education in real estate.
You must have a strategy and understand housing cycles. It is not just about being able to buy a property, fix it up and resell it.
