Introduction

The Victoria and Albert museum is in London,is the world's largest museum of decorative arts and design.It was founded in 1852 and named after Quancienteen Victoria and Prince Albert.

Colleccions The museum has an extensive collection of

European,Hindu,Chinese,Korean,Japenese and islamic,decorative arts.

The collection of paintings and drawing contains some two thousand British and European works.

Architecture of the Museum

The victorian parts of building have a complex history, with piecemeal additions by different architects.Founded in May 1852, it was not util 1857 that the museum moved to the present site.
