They took Temujin and threw him into a cave,

where he suffered away from his home.

He was corrupted and treated as a slave,

a life he wished he had never known.

Temujin was elected khagan

at the meeting of kuriltai.

He felt the need to be strong again

and wanted to see his persecutors die.

They were vicious with horses and swords;

an army that would be feared.

They wanted to conquer other lands and their lords

that would last for many years.

China was their first victim

who was terrified when they came.

And then the east didn’t affect them

ruled by “Prester John.”
