If a person is slow taking notes, a picture can be taken of the notes and accessed later. Same for sending notes to absent classmates and even you can make notes in memo.

Cell phones are a distraction to the student as well as the class.
Cell phones can be used as a method of cheating.
Students can play games on the phone, watch videos & make phone calls and
miss their lessons
It induces jealousy and could be theft.

should be allowed in the classroom. They can bring a positive influence to the classroom and learning.
