Effect on the accuracy of mass flow
Temperature When there is a difference between the temperature for zero pointadjustment and the process temperature, the typical measured error ofthe Promass sensor is ±0.0002% of the full scale value / °C.
Static pressure Static pressure has a predictive effect on the accuracy of Coriolis massflow meters. This effects is dependant of the sensor type and nominaldiameter. Tables show the effect on accuracy of mass flow due to adifference between calibration pressure and process pressure
Viscosity Viscosity has a negligible effect on the accuracy of Coriolis mass flowmeters. It has an effect on the Zero Point of the instrument. This effectcan be compensated by carrying out a static or dynamic zero pointadjustment during commisionning.
Density Density has a negligible effect on the accuracy of Coriolis mass flowmeters.
