I’ve been, never able, to give ONE straight answer.

Is there something your audience needs to SEE
more than HEAR & FEEL?
. Images?
. Charts?
. Numbers?
Will what you SHOW on the screen
. support statements you VOICE?
. emphasize the FEELINGS?
. exemplify your PROPOSALS?
Is your CONVERSATION / DIALOGUE
. substantially LONG in time?
. has data and details you can’t easily REMEMBER?
Are you new to the SUBJECT matter?
Are you quoting/stating on someone else’s behalf?
ANXIETY, does it get the better of you?
Are you APT to forget a few essential points?
Do you need to go BACK and FORTH over the planned TALK?
If YES, then POWERPOINT
you must DObecause it will AID you, your DIALOGUE and will make your presentation MEMORABLE
The POINT of POWERA good presentation like good love-making, sometimes, needs
. a glass of wine
. a good ambiance
. __________ you fill in the blanks.
Now… Ah! Uhmm!
Ok, if I ask you a few more things again?
Do you know your subject matter inside & out?
Are you the RESEARCHER, the AuTHOR,the one with actual EXPERIENCE?
Under pressure will you remember the structure
of the CONVERSATION
you plan to have with your audience?
Will you flow, be cool and interactive with your audience
without using notes, cue cards, prompters etc.,?
Can you answer a SUBSTANTIAL number of questions
that might be raised about the subject of TALK?
If YES, then you can do away with POWERPOINT.
You can let it DIE
otherwise it will kill you and your audience.
The POINT of POWERA good presentation like good love-
making needs very few accoutrements and
aids.
The more natural, aware, attentive, sensitive and focused it is (the presentation) towards the other then it results in better LEARNING nourishment , better MEMORABILITY and better RESULTS.

IMPROVE the lives of your LISTENERS for the BETTER
IMPROVE ProcessesMake PROFITS happen
