MastheadFor my Poster Masthead. I have slightly challenged stereotypical conventions film poster, but have followed a Psychological Thriller Poster. It’s positioned at the bottom to cause more mysterious and intention to my audience or reader. By following and challenging conventions it give my magazine a mixture of how much my magazine could twist, change or adapt to become it own.
Main imageFor my Main Image, I have followed the stereotypical conventions of a film poster. As my main imagery is going to be in the middle/top of my poster. To entice and attract my audience’s or reader’s attention. I am going to have unsettled imagery of the main protagonist to create tension and mysterious and to show the protagonist’s mental health issues. This will construct the idea of confusion into how the mental health issues were developed.
Colour SchemeFor my colour scheme. I am following the typically conventions of what Psychological Thriller Posters uses. The colours I am deciding upon on are Black, Grey, Red and maybe Yellow.
LayoutFor my Poster Layout, I have followed the stereotypical conventions for a Psychological Thriller Poster. By having the film title at the bottom of the page, to empathise the main imagery more. As well I’ve Tagline is at the top of the poster, in order portray mysterious as an audience’s or reader’s read from left top to right top to left bottom to right bottom.
SloganFor my Slogan. I have followed the stereotypical conventions for a Psychological Thriller Poster. As the slogan is at the top of the poster, in order to captive mysterious as the audience or reader read from left top to right top to left bottom to right bottom.
