PiGreco - il Luogo Ideale We are two graduated students of mathematics. Our dream is to create an organization to share our passion for mathematics with other people. In order to reach this aim, we plan to do different activities for different targets: for children, for young students of every age and also for adults. For these activities we would like to open a sort of “cafè”, a place where you can always find us and math stuff: there will be a mathematical library, a corner with logic games to test your ability and a space for children to let them approch to math in a funny way. The main activity of our association will be private lessons for students who have difficulties in math: we hope that these lessons will help them not only to improve their scholastic results, but also to appreciate the beauty of math. Another activity we are planning is to organize seminars or conferences for unskilled audience in order to surprise them with unexpected and unknown mathematical results. We would also like to offer workshops for children and school. Workshops for children will be based on games and animations in order to show the funny side of math. Instead workshops for school will be create in order to give students a different point of view of what they are studying or to show them topics that are not usually in school programs.
