The website features a custom action centre, petition page and email-a-rep widget.

Evergreen CityWorks and The J.W. McConnell Family Foundation’s Cities for People project have partnered to engage citizens across Canada in building a national action plan for cities.
The campaign involves training staff, regional organizers and supporting over 100 roundtable hosts in 50 cities across Canada.

The online forum provides training resources to support over 100 Roundtable Hosts and Regional Organizers.
Any Canadian individual or organization is able to create their own event through the We Are Cities NationBuilder site.
OIL & WATER DON’T MIXMichigan Land Use Institute campaign to keep oil out of the Great Lakes

In under a month, Groundforce Digital worked with the Michigan Land Use Institute to develop the campaign visual identity and web site for Oil & Water Don’t Mix.
The site features the campaign TV ad, a custom petition page and embedded merchandise store.

At the outset of the project, there were some doubts within the Ontario Liberal Party. Would people participate? Would the team of volunteers overseeing the campaign be able to keep up? Would it be hijacked by supporters of other parties?
Using IdeaScale and NationBuilder effectively, the campaign team succeeded. Over 12,000 people from all over the province contributed 1,701 ideas, discussed those ideas and cast over 116,000 votes. Read the case study.
