Theory of social work:

“The work done by someone who works for a government or private organization that helps people who have financial or family problems called social work”

Definition:

What is the need of social work? How social work is carried out? To whom social work is going to serve?

What is social work?????

To answer these questions we need to know; Why people are suffering? What is our responsibilities towards fellow human beings? How we gain knowledge about human problems?

Need to know:

helping individuals, families, groups and communities to enhance their individual and collective well-being.

It aims to help people develop their skills and their ability to use their own resources and those of the community to resolve problems.

Social work is concerned with individual and personal problems like poverty, unemployment and domestic violence etc.
