Steven Allan Spielberg is a director, screenwriter, film producer and

American video game designer. It is one of the most recognizable and popular of the world film industry.

Candidate seven times to the Academy Awards in the category of best director, won the award on two occasions, with the list of Schindler and Saving Private Ryan. Three of his films (Jaws, E.T.: the extra-terrestrial and Jurassic Park) managed to box office record and became the highest grossing movie at

the time.

After starting studies of Philology at California State University, he left the University to be hired by the television division of Universal producer.

Shortly after he began directing episodes of series such as Marcus Welby and Colombo, but the

unexpected success of the cinema of his Telefilm version the devil on wheels (1972) opened the

doors of the big screen.
