NATURAL WOODOur hand crafted wooden hangers are stunningly

beautiful and create a timeless look.

With a little sanding to help enhance the wood

grain as stunning finish is achieved on soft or

hard woods.

BEECH WOODBeech wood has a distinctive small and lightly coloured grain and is

suitable for a wide range of finishes.

Beech is a harder wood than both hon/lotus wood and birch which in

turn makes it more durable.

BIRCH WOODBirch wood has quite a dark and uneven grain. Birch can be painted,

washed with a colour or stained. Staining brings out the beauty of the

grain.

Our production facilities operate the latest technology which ensures

that the lacquering and painting process are more efficient and

consistent compared with hand­spray coating.

MAPLE WOODMaple wood is very light in colour and has a delicate open grain. Its appearance

is extremely subtle and can be used to achieve a stunning decorative finish.

Maple wood is also best left in its raw state or with an added clear matt or gloss

lacquer. Once a lacquer is applied it provides additional strength to the wood.

Lacquering does result in the base colour becoming quite a few shades darker

than when it is in its raw state.

GUGERTREE WOODSometimes known as Lotus wood, Gugertree wood is at its best when it is

left in its raw state. Gugertree is a very soft wood. A little sanding is all that

is needed to allow the beauty of this wood to come through. Although we

can apply a washed effect to this wood is not recommended, however it

does lend itself very well to dark staining and painting. A clear lacquer can

be applied which darkens the wood and strengthens it giving it a quite

different appearance. Gugertree is susceptible to naturally evolved knots

and knurls which ensures that each hanger has a unique appearance.

APPLIEDFINISHES

Clear lacquer, stained, painted or washed the possibilities are

endless when you apply a clear or coloured finish to our

hand crafted wooden hangers.

 

STAININGMHanger staining is a process where the natural wood is dipped into a

preselected colour. This technique allows the natural beauty of the wood to be

retained whilst adding a hint of colour.

MATT PAINTEDA matt paint finish provides a contemporary feel. Matt paint is not reflective

and adds a little protection to the wood. When choosing the base wood it is

important to take into account the garment type/weight. Soft woods are

suitable for lighter weight items. For heavier items you may need to choose

a stronger hard wood is recommended.

GLOSSThere are two options to achieve a gloss finish, standard gloss and high gloss.

Gloss paint adds both strength and durability.

CLEAR LACQUERThis finishing technique results in a slight darkening of the wood at the

same time it adds some protection to the hanger.

HIGH GLOSSOur high gloss paint is specially formulated to allow a higher build up of colour

without sacrificing the clarity of a mirror finish. This finish is very durable and

reflects the light.

COLOUR WASHEDA tinted stain is lightly washed over the wooden hanger.This adds a little

colour which adds to the overall effect.The finish is a very tasteful and still

allows the natural wood itself to remain visible.

RAW WOODAs its name implies nothing is added to the wood. A little light sanding is carried

out to enhance the natural beauty of the wood.

NON-SLIP VARNISHA light non­slip varnish is added to a natural sanded wooden hanger.

RUBBER COATINGA partial of full rubberised coating can be applied to the hanger to provide a

textured finish.

FLOCKINGFlocking can be applied to either just the shoulder or the whole of your

bespoke wooden hanger. This adds an extra touch of luxury to your hanger.

FLOCKINGA contrasting or similar shade of velvet flocking can be applied to add a striking

impact.

ANTI-SLIP COATINGAnti­slip coating is applied to a stained hanger.

METAL PLATE WITHLASER PRINTA metal name plate (or plaque) with a laser etched logo creates a distinctive

look. The metal name plate can be produced in a number of different shapes

and colour options.

HOT FOILHot foil printing is a method of printing metallic colours. Hot foil printing

leaves a slight indent on the woods surface. There is a wide range of

colours, metallic and pearlescent coloured foils which allows for stunning

and durable brand opportunity.

SILK PRINTSilk screen printing is ideal for reproducing very intricate designs.

PAD PRINTThe most popular method of print is pad printing. Two colour print option

available. This simple method of printing works well with all types of logo

and feels smooth to the touch.

LASER WITHCOLOUR INFILLThe laser prints the logo directly into the wooden hanger and then the design is

infilled with an ink.

PLASTIC PLATEA plastic name plate or plaque is available to create a different overall

look.

LASER PRINTINGLaser print is when the logo is laser etched directly into the wood. This

engraved style of printing is clean and accurate and allows the

reproduction of the most intricate logos.

NON-SLIP/NOTCHESTo ensure that garments stay securely in place we provide customers

TROUSERBARS

Trouser bars are used when displaying a two or a three piece suit;

however, a bar can also enhance the presentation of a structured

outerwear garment.

FLOCKED BARThe extended flocked bar is dropped down from the body of the hanger.

Flocking acts as a non­slip coating and provides a luxurious feel.

LOCKING BARThe bar is constructed in a round section and has a metal locking

mechanism. The garment is securely locked in place by between the

wood and the metalware.

RUBBER RIBBEDBARThe rubber ribbed bar is pinned directly onto the hanger. The gently ribbed

rubber firmly holds the garment onto the bar.

PINNED BARA ribbed round or square bar is dropped down from the body of the

hanger, allowing visibility of the pin whilst holding the garment

securely in place.
