What is Hacking Psychology?

The original definition of the term

"hack" is an inelegant but effective

solution to a specific computing

problem.

Hacking Psychology, we meant, as

a way to introduce how psychology

as a science is being applied in

life…in it’s various ways which

could be inelegant but effective

nonetheless

14

What we need

• a space —> Kampus Fapsi Unpad Jatinangor

• time —> 7 Dec 2014

• promo support —> lecturers and alumni to tweet or ‘subtly’ mention Hacking Psychology, Pecha Kucha in their interaction with the students

15

16

How to do Pecha Kucha style presentation

• Prepare 20 slides, with mostly visuals…not too text

• Set the animation/transition between slides to automatically run after 20 seconds

• Practice your story telling

• It’s not how much, it’s how compelling your story is

17

Pecha Kucha presentation tips

Good PechaKucha presentations are the ones that

uncover the unexpected -- unexpected talent, unexpected

ideas. Some PechaKuchas tell great stories about a

project or a trip. Some are incredibly personal, some are

incredibly funny, but all are very different, and they turn

each PechaKucha Night into “a box of chocolates.”
