Time Consuming Chances of Human error Paper work results in need of lot of spaces to keep the

data. Possibly data duplication as there’s no repetition check

like in Software Not more than one person can access data at the same

time but in computerized information system many people can access the same data on the same time through networking easily.

Disadvantages of Manual Work

Lack of Security: since data is stored in filing , it is freely available to anyone, if information falls into the wrong hands it can be used against the employee himself.

Inconsistent of data : there will be unavailability for future use since data might get misplaced during manual filing.

People no longer to store paper records or hand write order forms and other information needed to do work.

Automation can accomplished many tasks faster Less storage space is required for data Copies of data can easily be transferred for safe keeping in case of fire or
