LICENCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

HIGHLIGHTS ON THE LICENCE CONDITIONS

CONDITION 3: The Licensee shall maintain

telecommunications equipment in accordance with, and

under contract with the Customer

CONDITION 4: The Licensee shall only engage a

licensed Technical Personnel to install and maintain

telecommunications equipment.

CONDITION 5: By the 15th July of every year, the

Licensee shall submit a Compliance Report detailing

the performance of the previous operational year ended

ANNUAL RENEWAL OF

COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATE

To be issued with a compliance

certificate, one has to comply with all

terms and conditions of the licence.

This includes submission of the

following:

i.Compliance returns –up-to-date

record on the physical address, email

and postal addresses.

ii.Audited financial accounts

iii.Payment of the annual renewal fee

Monitoring

LICENSEE OBLIGATIONS

1. They are supposed to exhibit high standards

of professionalism i.e. use of the right

materials (cables)

2. Licensees are expected to exhibit good

practices to:

(b) Protect the safety of persons and property;

(c) Ensure that their activity have little

interference with:

i) The operations of a public utility,

ii) Public roads and paths,

iii) The movement of traffic, and the use of

land

(d) Protect the environment.

NON-COMPLIANCE

Failure to comply with the licence

terms and conditions may lead to:

i. Levying of penalties

ii. Suspension of the licence

iii. Criminal prosecution

iv. Revocation of the licence

among other regulatory options
