Dear Abhishek and Team ART 40, Greetings!!! Firstly congratulations on a wonderful year gone by. Really appreciate the efforts put in by each one of you.. Truly commendable!!!! Your efforts towards each facet of tabling has given this movement an opportunity to grow more. Would like to thank you for all the support that each one of you've extended to your national board. We've put in all the efforts to give you the best. Shall always look forward to your continued support. Would like to place on my sincere thanks to our Past President Vineet (he will always remain as my President, had an opportunity to work with him as his NST & learn a lot from him) his efforts towards the reorganization committee has been tremendous!!!! Dear Friends, Taking over as the chairman of a table like ART 40 which has a wonderful legacy was a challenging task. When your seniors have set such high benchmarks you have to put in all the extra efforts to make sue u live up the 40 standard. But believe me, at this moment when i am about to hand over the Chairman Jewel to Ankit Agarwal, i feel i have given my table a wonderful year. We have touched on all the facets of tabling organizing all the flagship events of our table plus kick starting new things as well. The highlights of the table have been •  Gandhidham Extension: A new tabling centre in AREA XI after 16 years. •  First ever full fledged RTI Week in AREA XI with 21 projects worth 7 lakhs touching 1300 lives •  Bhumi Pujan of FTE project worth 1 Cr initiated at Naaz village near Ahmedabad •  Landmark meeting 888 with CMRT41 at NAGM and 900 meeting with entire ART40 family •  27 fellowship events, 8 twinkler events, 3 LAPD events,  11 community service projects •  Biggest ever publicity for RTI in Ahmedabad during the 19th Blind Car Rally. I would like to thank my headboard, ART40 & ALC 64 members for constant support round the year. I would also thank the National board / Area Board for continuous guidance & support.   “Every right implies a responsibility; Every opportunity, an obligation, Every possession, a duty.” Dear Friends, Time flies , the year is over & how. Here I am writing the secretary’s message. It feels like yesterday when I took this post for one of the vibrant tables of RTI. Words fail me today as I sit down to pen my thoughts on the incredible year gone by. I have been a part of the RTI for quite some time now and seeing its course of development makes me a very proud part of it. We all are very well averse about the doings of RTI, its achievements over the year However, as the secretary, I had no clue about the responsibilities that come with it. In the beginning there was an immense pressure to perform, but slowly the pressure became pleasure. The mantra was 3D: DETERMINATION, DELIVERY, DELIGENCE During my journey I learnt that the work of the secretary is not just preparing MOMO & Reports, his work is to lead with coordination and mutual understanding. It has been a splendid course of constant learning and delivering which has helped me redefine my caliber and furbish my capabilities. I extend my gratitude to the chairman Tr. Abhishek and to the entire family of ART40 & ALC 64 for bestowing me with this opportunity. Friday, Sept 10th, ART40 & ALC 64 decided to celebrate Karwa-chauth, held at Sq. Leg Deepak Shah’s Residence. The garden was lit of candles and flower decoration all over giving the festive touch. All Tablers, Circlers and Twinklers attended the event with full enthusiasm.

ART40 & ALC 64 decided to celebrate Navratri, at Karnavati Club. All Tablers, Circlers and Twinklers were dressed in traditional and danced on the tunes of sheri garba & Raas dandiya.

Host: Vinit Parikh & Amit Kariwala Another unique social was hosted. Couples were asked to put on their dancing shoe, Practice the moves & perform. It was a fun event where tablers & circlers danced, swayed in style.

Host: Ankit Parikh & Amit Jain Party was organized a day prior, hosts invited all the tables of Ahmedabad.Tabers were handcuffed with their spouses. Couples later hit the floor & danced till midnight.

Host: Ankit Agarwal, Vishal Agarwal, Shyam Seth, Animesh & Satyavrat Social was hosted for the tablers participating in IIM Program. About 30 tablers across India along with other tablers of Ahmedabad & surat attended. All were dressed in traditional wear. Hukkah, cultrual dance & traditional food was relished.

Chairman Abhishek Goyal invited members of ART40 & ALC 64 at his residence over Dilli chaat party which was delicious and credit for the same goes to Cr. Ritu.

Janamashtami is the season of cards in Gujarat. Our table got togather during the season at HT Prakash’s residence and tried their luck on Teen Patti and Poker.

Tablers & circlers got togather for Bhajan Sandhya organised by Tr. Vishal on the occasion of 60th Birthday of his dad.

Tr. Animesh started a coffee shop in his hotel and on the soft launch invited all tablers and circlers over dinner & coffee.

Celebrated the completion of 11 long day fast by Cr. Aarohi with the lunch at residence. She invited all Tablers & circlers.

All Tablers, circlers & Twinklers on a summer Sunday got togather at Karnavati Club. Tablers & circlers dipped into the pool & Jacuzzi which ended with a heavy Sunday brunch.

ART40 & AFRT199 planned a movie ‘Singham’ together on 15th August. All tables of Ahmedabad also decided to watch ‘PK’ together along with family, organized by AFC.

ART40 & AHRT 193 jointly celebrated Friendship day, at Antarkshitij Resort. Tablers, Circlers and Twinklers played cricket, football and later jumped into the pool. Fun filled Friendship Day.

Janamashtami Celebration Tr. Ankit Agarwal, conceptualised the Dahi Handi event which is a perfect amalgamation of sport & spirituality.

The event started off with a surprise with a celebration of Lord Krishna arrival. Tr. Vishal acted as a Vasudev and Twr. Aarna was baby Krishna placed in basket under Seshnaag. Circlers enacted as Yashodha’s.

Post Krishna’s birth, each table team had a task to form the pyramid and break the handi. ART 40 also participated and our Tr. Jwalant was successful in breaking the handi.

It was an enjoyable day filled with fun and liveliness And some incredible moments to cherish.

All Tables of Ahmedabad decided to celebrate the festival of Navratri togather. Alert 208 initiated it and had organised the Garba and Dandiya exclusive for Tablers. Complete full house with tablers, circlers dancing on music past midnight.

All Tables of Ahmedabad decided to celebrate the festival of Uttarayan togather. ADRT 170 had organised the same on the terrace of a tablers house. We all flew kites during the day and later Chinese lantern were flown in the sky during the late evening. The entire sky was lit with lanterns.

All Tables of Ahmedabad jointly hosted a Social in the honor of National President’s Deepak Menda visit to Ahmedabad. The Theme for the evening was Aqua where in All were dressed in Blue n white. Live bnd played the music.

ART 40 participated in All Ahmedabad Table Bowling competition organised by RT 170. The event brought back the memories of Schooldays.

All Ahmedabad Table decided to throw a party for NNBS students who visited Ahmedabad to see Round table school projects executed so far. The fusion band just mesmerized them.

ART 40 & AHRT 193 decided to do a boys night out. Sq. Leg Satya offered his farm for the event. Guys got the much needed break where in they dipped in the pool, played games & cooked food.

Area XI had organised a football match between the Tablers & NNBS team at Decathalon. It was fun playing with them even though we lost to the opposition.

ART 40 participated in Inter Table Volleyball Fellowship on the occasion of AFRT 199 Charter Day.

Tr. Ankit Agarwal had organised a sunderkaand paath at his residence. Tablers and circlers were quite devoted, recited the sunderkaand and performed aarti at the end.

South Indian Bruch Fellowship was organised by ART40 & AHRT 193 on the RTI week at Tr. Vivek’s residence.

ART 40 performed Comedy nights with Kapil at the 5th Area XI AGM in Ranthambore where Tr. Ankit acted as kapil, Tr. Abhishek acted as Dadi and HT Amit acted as Siddhu.

After the formal charter function of new table in Gandhidham, tablers n circlers got into party mode. Everyone danced till wee hours on the music. The new table was all excited to be a part of the Round table organisation.

It was a landmark meet, where in Ahmedabad Round Table 40 & Calcutta Metropolitan Round Table 41 held their historic meet togather during the National AGM in Kolkatta. The meeting witnessed the presence of National President, Nationalheadboard, Area Chairmans and tablers from all over the country.

ART 40 members were privileged to be part of Table AGM’s of ADRT 170, AHRT 193, AFRT 199 and ALERT 208. Tr. Utkarsh was made the Area observer for ALERT 208 during the AGM.

Round Table Naaz School Bhoomi Pujan was done on 28th Nov by the hands of NNBS Team along with Mr. Nitin Shah, HT Samir and Area Chairman Kunal. The school will have 8 classrooms with an approx cost of 1 Cr. Mr.Nitin announced Rs.30 Lakh towards the school donation.

ART 40 celebrated the day with children of Keshavnagar Round Table school with pride. Chairman hoisted the flag and scouts played the anthem. We distributed notebooks, crayons, sketch books & other stationery along with food items to 350 kids.

Non FTE project where in we had set up a kitchen garden at an old age home Jeevan Sandhya near Gota village Ahmedabad. The plants of all essential vegetables and fruits which was ploughed.

Another Non FTE project during the Navratri celebration. We met a group of under privileged children who had come to watch and enjoy garba. We decided to distribute pop corn and bhel puri to all the 30 kids from our side. Kids just loved & hogged on it.

ART 40 & Gandhidam Round Table 254 togather distributed school fans & tubelight to a school along with the RTI school bag to all the kids in the school.

Tr. Ankit Parikh decided to celebrate his Son’s birthday with underprivileged Children at Andh apang manav mandal. Katputhli show, fire works along with Ice creams brought smiles on the faces of kids. Kids were delighted to burst Crackers.

ART 40 distributed sweets, chocolates, buttermilk to 35 underprivileged kids at Naaz school in the presence of National Vice President Tr. Suman Voora. This was done on the day when ART 40 was celebrating its landmark 900th meeting.

Tr. Abhishek celebrated his daughters birthday with underprivileged kids. There was live DJ, Magic show, puppet show & food organised for the kids. The Kids had a fabulous time and enjoyed all the activities arranged for them. Their blessings would mean a lot for little Anaya.

ART 40 decided to treat blind person who were a part of our Blindman car rally. We hosted dinner for 100 blind person at Hotel Radisson in Ahmedabad. We also felicitated the top 3 blind navigators with cash prizes.

ART 40 like every year celebrated Republic Day at the Municipal school in ahmedabad. The kids danced on various patriotic songs and did a march past. Later on we distributed food & milk items to all the kids in the school. Top performing kids in the field of education & other activities were also felicitated with gifts.

Tr. Vinit Parikh came across a family who required financial help in upbringing her kids as she lost her husband who was the sole earner for the family.ART 40 decided to contribute to Manju Bhaiya a sum of Rs. 1 lac towards her kids education.

ART 40 hosted ’Street Smart’ event for more than 1200 underprivileged kids at Lawgarden street. The street was shut for 3 hours which turned into a playground for kids. Livebands, dance performances and games were kept. We also had 30 foreign delegates who participated in the event. They danced with the kids & appreciated Round Table’s work.

Round Table India week is celebrated on the occasion of Round Table Foundation Day i.e 14th November. All facets of tabling is covered during the week.

ART 40 successfully convened its 19th Blindman car rally on 22nd February 2014 from Sabarmati Riverfront. We had 85 cars that participated in the event and the cars was flagged off by the hands of Mr. G.R Allohria- Addn. Chief Secretary. Route was approximately 65 km long & had lot of dirt track and off roading around the canals of Ahmedabad. Winners were felicitated in the evening function at Radisson with cash prizes,Free dinner coupons along with a free night stay in Radisson. Cash prize was also given to the blind navigators who helped the participant win the rally.

Tr. Ankit Parikh organized first LAPD program for ART 40 & ALC 64 members as a power yoga workshop. We had funfilled 90 minutes yoga followed by breakfast and business meeting.

ART 40 organised its Annual LAPD program exclusively for the Tablers & Circlers of Round Table At IIM Ahmedabad from 2nd to 4th February 2015. 31 participants from all across India where they got a chance to enhance their skills further.

On 25th December, ART 40 celebrated Christmas in a special way by sending Santa Claus to each and every tablers house and distributed goodies & Chocolates to all the twinklers. Kids were too excited to welcome Santa at their home.

On 2nd October, ART 40 & AHRT 193 had jointly planned a kids day out picnic at a nearby farm. Twinklers did a bullock cart ride, were amazed to see exotic birds & Ostrich at the farm. Later the kids hogged on to maggi, french fries and cold drinks.

HT Prakash Udeshi celebrated his son Dian’s birthday at Hotel Platinum where in he invited all the tablers and circlers for the event. Kids were amazed to see the magician performing for them.

Tr. Vishal Agarwal celebrated his son Aadit’s birthday at a nearby farm where in he invited all the tablers and circlers for the event. Kids had an amazing time as lot of acitivites were being planned at the venue.

Tr. Ankit Agarwal met Gujarat Governor Shri O.P. Kohli and Gujarat Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel and presented the Round Table India coffee book. The book consists of the school projects done acros India by Round Table.

Tr. Abhishek Goyal got an opportunity to speak On-Air on popular Radio Channel ‘Radio One’ in Ahmedabad regarding the Round Table India and its activities during the RTI week.

Hindi Daily Rajasthan Patrika covered the Round Table Dahi Handi event. The event was also covered by popular regional channel Etv Gujarati which showed it live.

Kids Carnival on Children’s Day was organized by ART 40 at Riverfront. About 100 under privileged kids participated where there were lot of activities organised for the kids. The same was covere in popular English daily DNA newspaper.

Street Smart which was organized for underprivileged kids at Law garden was very well covered by Dainik Bhaskar & Rajasthan Patrika.

ART 40 did the Round Table India week in th 2nd week of November. All the activities undertaken during the week was very well covered by leading English daily DNA newspaper.

Ahmedabad Round Table for the very first time roped in Times foundation as Main sponsor, Media Partner as Times of India (leading newspaper-English) & Nav Gujarat Samay (Times group- Gujarati), Radio Parter as Radio Mirchi, Hospitality Partner: Radisson Blu. Other Major Sponsors: BMW, HDFC Bank, Vadilal. All the medium of media was utilised to generate maximum publicity. There were numerous advertisement in paper, pre article and post articles published in all the newspaper. Approx 16 hoardings and 2 LED hoardings were placed at prominent locations in Ahmedabad.We had sent approx 15,000 SMS all over ahmedabad informing about car rally. Standees & A-3 size poster were placed in prominent Hotels, Restaurant, Gymnasium, Educational Institutes in Ahmedabad.

There were two Internal extensions done during the year. Both the prospects were inducted during the last AGM of our table.

ART 40 inaugurated a new table in Gandhidham in November in presence of Extension Convenor Hamir Sampat. Later we Chartered the table in Gandhidham on 11th January 2015. The new table was called Gandhidham Round Table 254, is the fifth extension by us.This extension is very special as a new tabling centre has come up in Area XI after 16 years. The Charter function was attended by National President Tr. Deepak Menda, Area XI Vice Chairman Ritesh Sirohia, Area XI Secretary Tr. Sumit Khurana along with Tablers of ART 40, AHRT 193, AFRT 199 and our dear 41’ers. New table has a strength of 15 tables and the Charter Chairman is Tr. Saurabh Bansal.

Milestone is a mere achievement; it becomes a celebration when people who are the reason for achieving the same accompany it.   History was made when ART 40 celebrated its Landmark 900th Meet on 28th June 2015. Hotel Platinum was the venue, which witnessed never before such enthusiasm among the tablers & the evening became even more special with the presence past Chairman & members attending it. The joy they were radiating made the whole atmosphere mesmerizing. Sumar Voora, Hamir Sampat, Kunal Kavi, Manoj Kapoor, Charter Chairman 40 Dinesh Shah were the special invitees.   All past Chairmen were offered a special 900th pin & memento but the moment came when few active tablers gave away mementos to their own father (now square leg of ART-40).   In those 899 meetings gone by Art 40 achieved great heights in All facets of Tabling & has given great leaders in the Area & National.   It was an evening where memories of this meet will be Imprisoned in our hearts forever.
