What does this mean? When Hitler was appointed Chancellor, Hindenburg signed

Germany’s new ‘Fuehrer’ - Leaderbroke the rules of the treaty of Versailles by:

*Creating an Airforce*Reintroducing conscription

*Sending troops into the Rhineland, Austria and the Sudetenland (Czechoslovakia)

*Making a pact with Italy to create the Berlin-RomeAxis (the new power in Europe)

Why didn’t the other nations intervene during these years (1933 - 39)?

Page 7: World wartwo

*Because many thought the terms of the treaty were unreasonable

and

*Because the other nations were feeling threatened by Communism (Russian Communism) and

thought that the support of Germany to fight Communism could be needed.
