Hi Friends………………, I just want to take a few moments of your time to update you on the newFeatures of “The Ivory Tower” web page. First of all you have probably noted the new design of the cover (home) page. For the time being at least, that will be the official design. The index is up to date and can be used for easy navigation through the entire web page (a big help since there are 14 main pages and over 50 mini pages ). There are lots of videos and loads of music so you should be able to find something that fits you mood at the time. The really big news tho is the addition of your jukebox – Tower Tunes. It is under construction but already has the 1940s completed and 1 year of the 50s and 2 years of the 60s entered. Eventually the will be 60 individual years of music and several categories of “specialties”. All told I anticipate over 2000 musical entries so you can see it will take a little time. The jukebox page is actually a collection of many mini jukeboxes as each year will have its own player and each specialty will have several. Clicking on the little white tab under the player controls will bring down a menu of the songs on that player.

I f you click on the player and do nothing more the songs will play consecutively through the whole list. However songs can be played individually by opening the menu and clicking on songs in any order. The entire list does not “loop” so that after the last song has played the player must be restarted or a new song selected. Of course there are far to many songs in this 60 year period to include them all. I have tried to include those that were most popular. There will be a little room to add a few more so if I have missed one that you really really miss let me know (through the comment section of the contact page) and I will try to find it and add it to the year it came out. It is my hope that as these songs are added, they will not only provide moments of listening pleasure but will bring back pleasant memories of years gone by be it dances, parties romances or what ever. At any rate keep checking in for tho the jukebox will stay permanent the other videos will be changing periodically. Once again, thanks for dropping by. My best to you, jim
