The 14 amendments
I think the first amendment means that you are able to go to church and get into large groups and have speeches kind of like the president.
The first amendment
I think the second amendment means that you have to protect yourself and not the government so you have to watch out.
The second amendment
I think the third amendment means that you need privacy and no soldiers are allowed in your home unless you prescribe for it.
The third amendment
I think it means that the police or any soldier are not allowed to search your house unless you get in trouble or something like that.
The fourth amendment
I think this amendment means that no person shall be held to answer for a capital unless on a presentment or indictment of grand jury.
The fifth amendment
THE 6TH AMENDMENTRight to a speedy, fair trial, legal counsel.
The 7th amendmentRight to a jury if value exceeds $20
The 8th amendmentRight to no excessive bail, fines, no cruel or
unusual punishment.
The 9th amendmentPrevents government from limiting people’s
rights.
The 10th amendmentProtects the states and the people from
federal government.
The 13th amendmentAbolition of slavery.
The 14th amendmentProtects citizens of life, liberty, property, and
equal protection and due process. Reduced the number in house of reps in state denied citizen’s right to vote. penalty (to confederates) for insurrection. Public debt all debts against us are illegal.
The 15th amendmentRight to vote on basis of race
The 19th amendmentThe right for women to vote.
