Basic information of Taiwan

Taiwan is the island that located between Japan and Philippines on the southeastern cost of china. The total area is 13,800 square miles, and there's range of mountain lies on the island. Monsoon and Typhoon affect Taiwan quite much because of the location which is sub tropical climate type.

There are about 22 million people live in this island, Taiwanese and Aborigines. The national language used for education and government is Mandarin Chinese, and the native language called Taiyu. Well, after you know some information about Taiwan, The next I'll introduce to you is the tourist attraction in Taiwan.

Tourist Attraction

There're many tourist attraction to go while visiting Taiwan but the only top 3 which I'll present is the best. First of all is Taipei 101, the landmark building located in Xinyi district. It was ranked in the highest building of the world in 2004 . The special thing of Taipei 101 is in New Year eve, the firework are launched from the building.

The second is National Palace Museum, the museum of ancient Chinese art, also located in Taipei. There're a collection of ancient art which are over 8,000 years old along with the others artwork in history. It's a great place for tourist who love history.

And the Last one is Shilin Night Market in Shilin district, the largest and most famous night market in Taipei city. It start from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m. Here you can enjoy shopping and eating street food.

Taiwanese Cuisine When getting to the market, the thing we must do is shopping and

eating. So, I'll let you know about Taiwanese cuisine.Because of the geography, Taiwan is an island, So the famous ingredient is definitely fish. Taiwanese mostly eat noodles, chicken and seafood. The basic seasoning are soy sauce, sesame oil and fermented black beans.

The important category of Taiwanese cuisine called XiaoChi, also known as substantial snack or appetizer. XiaoChi can easily find at night market. Each market has its own famous Xiaochi , so you can enjoy the difference taste in each regoin. There's a Taiwanese dessert which is widely famous in Asia, It's bubble tea. bubble tea is also known as boba milk tea. Made by adding chewy tapioca balls in milk tea. Enjoy all of these cuisine from the street in night market becomes a culture of Taiwan.
