From The DRR’s Desk
Dear Friends,
I want to thank you all for believing in me and accepting me to lead
this organisation. I take it with great responsibility and honour to
lead the Rotaract activities in District 3010 for the year 2010-11.
Rotaract is all about friendship, learning and service to the socitey. I
believe, if we in rotaract, can be good friends, then we can have
great opportunities to learn and make a difference to this society and
its issues .
This year’s theme – “LEARNING THROUGH FELLOWSHIP”
reflects the intention of bringing all of us together not only to learn
and create fellowship but also uniting together to look at the sections
of the society which are still deemed of knowledge and basic
standards of living. Every individual is unique and has its own view
of looking at things . If we bring our visions together and focus on
the issues of the society , we can create Magic.
As quoted by Shri Rabindranath Tagore - “Life is given to us, we
earn it by giving it” . We must be greatful to be born in the society
we live in. This society has made us capable . Its time to give back
what we owe to it.
Lets join our hands together to take the future of this country to an
all new level.
Tonnes of Love and Regards

EDITORIAL
“Get your motor running, Head out on the highway…
Looking for adventure, And whatever comes your way…”
And so we have begun with another new and much-
awaited Rotaract year. A young and enthusiastic DAC
team led by Rtr. Manik Gupta who believes in “Learning
through Fellowship”.
As all of us settle into our new roles, let us take a
moment to ponder on the year past. The thoughts and
ideas that transformed into actions. The ones that
couldn’t and require still more efforts to materialize. Let
us delve into a Rotaractor’s reverie and visualize Rotaract
as we wish it to be, at the epitome , better than the best.
“Service Before Self” is our motto and that is what is
required from all of us to take Rotaract District 3010 to
newer heights.
Any mountain can be conquered if we work together.
Nothing is impossible if we unite our efforts to achieve it.
We ought to believe that we are one of the leaves of a
tree that is District 3010. We cannot live without the
others, the tree. Rotaract year 2010-11 is the year of
fellowship. It is a time to make to go out and make
friends. We at the DAC hope to see a host of inter-club
and inter-district events this time round. Why confine the
good work !
The Installation ceremony and the Rotary Blood Bank visit
were brilliant kickstarts. I’m overwhelmed to see the
participation from all of you. Hope we can continue with
the same enthusiasm all year long. Here’s to spreading
the “MADness”. Afterall we’re Making A Difference!

From what we get we make a Living ; from what we give we make a life .
Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary. Through the Rotaract program, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills, but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.
Membership starts with you! Invite friends, family and co-workers to become members of Rotaract
