Code Enforcement – Keeping Up the Neighborhood
Join us for an informative session about how the city uses codes, support, and persuasion to
gain compliance on property maintenance and residential safety. Learn about the due process
hearings and other tools to keep properties maintained. Everett’s Code Enforcement Unit
supervisor, Kevin Fagerstrom, will update us on current challenges in the Port Gardner
neighborhood, including success stories, bank foreclosures, absentee landlords, and how
neighbors can help improve appearances in Everett’s neighborhoods.
Depot Park Work Party – March 14
On Saturday, March 14, from 10 AM until Noon, Depot Park will be hosting a volunteer
work party. If you have some time to help get this beautiful garden ready for spring, come
and join in the weeding, pruning, and planting. Depot Park is located at the south end of the
old Amtrak station on Bond St. Daffodils are now in full bloom, so even if you can’t join the
volunteers on the 14th, stop by sometime and watch the spring flowering progress. Contact
Linden Kimbrough with questions at 425 317-0705 or [email protected].
Please note the location change for March is back to Jackson School!!
