Learn about the due process hearings and other tools to keep properties maintained. Everett’s Code Enforcement Unit supervisor, Kevin Fagerstrom, will update us on current challenges in the Port Gardner neighborhood, including success stories, bank foreclosures, absentee landlords, and how neighbors can help improve appearances in Everett’s neighborhoods. Depot Park Work Party March 14 On Saturday, March 14, from 10 AM until Noon, Depot Park will be hosting a volunteer work party. If you have some time to help get this beautiful garden ready for spring, come and join in the weeding, pruning, and planting. Depot Park is located at the south end of the old Amtrak station on Bond St. Daffodils are now in full bloom, so even if you can’t join the volunteers on the 14th, stop by sometime and watch the spring flowering progress. Charles St. P-Patch Garden Plots Available

If the mild winter has you thinking about gardening, but you need a place to do it, consider

renting one of the already established, raised-bed plots in the Charles St P-Patch garden. It’s

a sunny location immediately below Jackson Elementary School. Suggested donation for a
