SOLUTIONS!”

So! Have you

Let’s

examine this

Antarctic

thing a little

closer.

Indeed! It

appears that

our

“Extreme

Weather”

due to Global

Warming

has caught

us a little by

surprise !

Well, I’ll say ! But, wait

a minute ! Aren’t you

just taking any weather:

Hot ! Cold! Windy! Calm!

Hurricane! Tornado!

etc., as evidence of “Global Warming” ?

How does that make

sense ? Sounds like

another “WATERGATE”

distortion.

This voyage by the chartered Russian ship, the MV Akademik Shokalskiy , was actually set up as a semi-scientific cruise (ref 1, see quote below) to give exposure to the story that the world’s icebergs are melting! And thus the expedition spurned the precaution of using an icebreaker-type ship. But as the picture (lower left) shows: there’s plenty of ice at the South pole. Further, that’s backed up by credible global scientific data. Moreover, not only was the MV A.S. ship stuck …but so was the Chinese icebreaker rescue ship that tried to help.

Hmmm!

Turney’s personal website, the purpose of the expedition was to

"discover and communicate the environmental changes taking place

in the South.”

Ahhh. I get

“Deniers”,

right?

But, you know what’s really troubling about this incident (fortunately there has been no loss of life.) - - the Media have ignored the issue related to the ship’s mission: to validate the melting glaciers. (See chart to left.) The omission is unethical and vile. Of course, it’s embarrassing to the promoters of the voyage. It is unethical, (1) in light of the Left’s continual ridicule of those who believe that Climate Change is part of the natural cycles of much the planet, and (2) despite much scientific data / opinion to support that (non-anthropogenic ) view.

Well, I promised you a little data as part of this discussion. This is from the National Snow & Ice Data Center. It shows Antarctic Sea Ice for 2nd half of 2013., with a consistent 2 standard deviation exceedance of the 2012 ice volume, which itself was higher than the 30 year preceding Average. So fears of continuing glacial death seem to have been greatly exaggerated.

Hmmm!
