The Lucy Parsons Center is located on Columbus Avenue in Boston’s South End.

The independent bookstore and community space has been open since 1969.

Lucy Parsons offers a wide selection of independently produced zines, newspapers, pamphlets, magazines, and books.

The bookshelves are filled with books on a variety of subjects: feminism, worker’s rights, socialism/anarchism, environmentalism, literature, history, and biography. The Lucy Parsons Center focuses on a progressive agenda and providing information and education related to the progressive movement.

In addition to the bookstore, Lucy Parsons also offers community meeting space. Radical Film night takes place every Wednesday. Groups of anarchists, worker’s rights activists, environmental and social justice activists, and socialists use the space for meetings and events.
