in Tibet

Presentation of the first message

This topic deals with human rights and democracy in Tibet focusing not only on how China persecutes Tibet and its population but also how their human rights are broken.

For many years, provinces of Tibet were coveted because it is a strategic hinge line between the Chinese and Indian territories.

Since Mao Zedong's 1949 communist and Chinese invasion , Tibet has been occupied.

Today this country, in theory, is a self-governing entity of the Chinese popular republic.

This subject consists in showing the political policy of Tibet and in reviewing the many fundamental laws which are flouted and overridden by China.

China claims that Tawang is historically part of Tibet, which China has controlled since 1951. The Chinese government has said the Dalai Lama’s plan to visit affirms his “splittist” intentions.
