His nearest rival, Mowafaq Nayrabiyeh, won 41 votes, it added. Bahra succeeded Ahmad Jarba, who headed the Coalition from July 2013 but failed in efforts to unite the Opposition and obtain significant Western military support. Truce held in Deir ez-Zor Opposition factions in Deir ez-Zor countryside agreed to have a reconciliation with ISIS under conditions granted by the whole tribes and factions in the area.

SNC elects Hadi al-Bahra as new leader

Syrian National Coalition (SNC), Wednesday elected Hadi al-Bahra as its new president.

"Hadi al-Bahra was elected president of the coalition with 62 votes", the coalition said in a statement after the early morning vote in the Black Sea resirt od Sile outside Istanbul in Turkey.

His nearest rival, Mowafaq Nayrabiyeh, won 41 votes, it added.

Bahra succeeded Ahmad Jarba, who headed the Coalition from July 2013 but failed in efforts to unite the Opposition and obtain significant Western military support.

Truce held in Deir ez-Zor

Opposition factions in Deir ez-Zor countryside agreed to have a reconciliation with ISIS under conditions granted by the whole tribes and factions in the area.

The reconciliation includes that all factions in western Deir ez-Zor maintain its previous structure, factions won't give ISIS any kind of weapons, and ISIS members won't enter the area and arrest any person who previously fought ISIS.

According to the reconciliation, each side will be responsible for defending a certain sector when battling with Syrian Army.

ISIS continues to receive allegiance

Several Factions in eastern Deir ez-Zor pledged allegiance to ISIS after the two agreed on ISIS's armed assistance to these factions. According to the agreement, civilians may keep their weapons without having to leave their homes; fighters who earlier held arms against ISIS will be pardoned, with the exception of those with theft charges, who will stand before courts.

SWAT head to Aleppo

SWAT was formed in Aleppo from

Al-Nusra, Syrian rebels Front and Hazem Movement formed a SWAT to rescue Aleppo from Syrian army's severe attacks and ISIS assaults.

"This SWAT is independent in its military decision, composed of 6 hundreds militants and headed by competent military leaders", al-Nusra Front commented.

Al-Nusra leaves out Aleppo Shariah Board

Shariah Board in Aleppo said in a statement that al-Nusra Front has withdrew from the Board for not approving to a unified project plan, reluctance to deliver the required offices.

Badr brigade commander killed

Commander of Badr Brigade Abu Muhammad Haroun was killed as ISIS detonated his car in eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside, Opposition sources report said.

Massive reinforcements head to Ain al-Arab

Clashes broke out last night between ISIS and YPG in Ain al-Arab in al-Hasaka province, where 4 YPG fighters were killed when ISIS detonated a car near a military checkpoint.

On other hand YPG foiled bomb attack on another military checkpoint.

Opposition sources revealed that armored vehicle, heavy artillery and huge number of troops by ISIS arrived to Ain al-Arab from Tell Abyad aiming of have full control on the whole area.

FSA controls military checkpoints

FSA-linked Ababel Houran Brigades controlled Khan Halabat battalion and Rsem al-Dareb village in Quneitra after battles with Syrian army, informed sources reported.

Battles continue in Aleppo countryside

An informed source denied holding talks between ISIS and the factions in northern east of Aleppo countryside to enforce a reconciliation.

"this vicious infighting is in favor of the Syrian Army, who regained control of the industrial city in Sheikh Najjar and the strategic Azan mountain", the source added.
