• ICT platform as an enabler for delivering physical services

• It is a “continuous process” to make our lives better

• Each city will have different priorities, utilize civic groups

E-governance - Work flow Automation. Fix accountability.

• Bring-in top talent, Inspiring leaders

• Top-down Planning, Bottom-up ideas

• Master plan to details, measurable targets , Independent

Evaluation Office

• Complex system- Fix Accountability. Create a Nodal

agency to be responsible for the overall smartness

• Operationalize in smaller areas/wards ( Activation centers)

Innovation and Ecosystem

• Encourage start-up ecosystem ( Hardware and software)

• Encourage “Make In India” and smaller Indian companies

• “Open”, heterogeneous systems, interoperability. AVOID

Monopoly

• Add new courses both Engineering and Business

• India specific solutions

• Use NSDC ( National skill Development corporation) &

MOOC extensively to educate/enhance skills at all levels

• Utilize the Demographic dividend

Indian IT Industry

• 3 Million workforce across R&D, Analytics, enterprise

• Extensive experience on cloud, Analytics, Connected

Devices, IOT

• Possible PPP: Education/skill Development
