Introductory remarks

A. Guidelines for including trust funds on the List

-75% of board members should be governments.

-The geographical scope – global/regional.

-A threshold?

-A reporting obligation (proposal US)?

• Proposal Canada: adding “core” and “non-core” to B02 and B03 respectively.

• Proposal Czech Republic: all trust funds B03, independently of their multilateral character.

• Proposal Italy: clarify the footnote.

A. Reporting on contributions to trust funds (types of aid B02/B03)

1. Interested members to send in list of possible new channel codes.

2. Secretariat to assess result and come up with a proposed list for approval by WP-STAT.

3. Members to report using these channels for three years.

4. Secretariat to report back to WP-STAT on the results and to propose a way forward.

B. Tracking flows through organisations without individual channel code (Proposal pilot - Spain)

- Imputed multilateral contributions for multilateral organisation that are reporting on their outflows.

- Assigned sector and regions for non-reporting multilaterals if appropriate (review).

Norway: what about improving visibility at a national level (internal reporting)?
