To Whom It May Concern:
I write this letter in support of the candidacy of Maresa Thompson for the District 12 board. I worked with Maresa extensively both when I was Governor of AAF District 12 as well as when I rejoined the local AAF-NM club after my term on the District board was complete.
Maresa is an exemplary AAF volunteer. Whether volunteering for the NSAC, the district ADDYs, the local ADDYS or any other AAF duties; Maresa always gives 120 percent. Her organizational skills, dedication and hardworking positive nature have made her an extraordinary asset to AAF-NM.
Indeed, Maresa took over the AAF-NM presidency when the local club was in turmoil. It faced extreme financial difficulty. Through her visionary leadership and drive; in one year the club erased all its debt and was able to put aside money in reserve. In addition, it held an extremely successful and profitable local ADDYs event.
In summary, I can think of no one throughout my time in AAF who would be a better representative of the values and vision of District 12.
