Army 10 Miler October 9th in Washington DC

Situation: Since 1985 the US Army has hosted a 10 mile race in the nations capital. Last year 59 ROTC teams were represented not to include Eagle BN.Mission: It is the mission of Eagle BN to compete in and place in the top 5% of ROTC teams in the 2011 DC Ten Miler to further prove that Eagle BN trains the best.

Uniform: Army PT shorts with Georgia Southern 10 Miler Team Jerseys

Execution: Eagle BN will assemble a team of its best long distance runners who will condition to peak performance, before competing against the Army’s best in Washington DC

Situation: MSI cadets are new to the ROTC program and are not familiar with the way that Eagle BN conducts its business. They will need instruction on how to become great additions to the proud tradition that is GSU ROTC.Mission:: MS1 cadets will conduct training on the basics of the Chain of Command and Military barring IVO the ROTC building NLT 251600AUG 2011 IOT become more accustomed to the ROTC life.

Situation: The MS III Cadets have already been exposed to Battle Drills as well as Situational Training Exercises. They simply need to be refreshed further to ensure 100% satisfactory performance in future Situational Training Exercises. Mission: Eagle BN MS III Cadets will conduct BD familiarization NLT 011600SEP11 IVO GSU ROTC Bldg Lot IOT successfully teach MS III how Battle Drills should be performed.

Key Tasks:1. 100% accountability of all MS III2. OPORD is disseminated to MS III efficiently3. Successfully train MS III to standard to properly Battle Drill4. Track training to inform cadets of areas needing improvement conduct

Timeline:1545 MS III arrive at ROTC Bldg for accountability 1550 MS III divide into 4 squads to conduct BD training1600 MS III squads marched to respective training lanes.1610 MS III begin conducting advised BD1745 Training ends, equipment check1750 March back to ROTC Bldg1755 Final Formation1800 MS III released
