The Taming of Mobile: The Wild West of Advertising
When Mary Meeker's "2015 Internet Trends" presentation
came out in May 2015, slide 16 caught my attention.
A graph pointed out that mobile, based on
views, wasn't getting its fair share of
advertising dollars. There was a $25
billion gap. How could this be? How
could our industry leave so
much money on the table?
I decided to do research to figure out what
was going on. What I uncovered
was not only surprising,
it was disturbing.
