How to Disable Auto App Updates on Android Phone

First go to Home Screen of your Android phone either by taping the Back button a few times or by pressing

the Home button.

Click the Apps icon to get the application in your phone’s Home Screen. Some phones have the apps

listed on their Home screen. If this is your case, then you can proceed to the next step.

Open the Play Store app from your phone’s application list.

Now in Play Store, go to the Menu button located on the upper left part of your phone’s screen and click it.

After clicking, tap on Settings to view the Google Play Store’s settings.

Now in General settings, click the Auto-update apps.

Now in Auto-update apps three options will be displayed. To disable auto-update apps you should click

on Do not auto-update apps.

Then do not auto-update apps will now be shown under the Auto-update apps option.

Now your applications will not update automatically anymore.
