• A custom ROM is one that has undergone any modification from being a pure distribution of Android. Google make the Android source code available for anyone to play around with, and people take this code and alter it for themselves. Whether to add features they come up with, or to redistribute it with fun tweaks and additions.

• Stock ROMs are the ones which come by default in Android phones or tablets. These are customized versions of Android done by mobile companies to make their devices unique in looks and features.

How to Root Galaxy Grand Duos Gt-i9082

Requirements:

Mobile Phone

Usb Cable

Usb Driver for sumsung

Root Genius Application for Windows

Steps:• Step1: DownLoad and install Sumsung Galaxy Grand Duos USB driver

• Step2:Enable USB Debugging , To enable USB debugging, Open Settings > Developers Options > USB Debugging > Tick to enable

• (Developers Options for android 4.2.2 or above) to show this option Go to Settings > About Phone > Built Number (Tap it 5-8 times)

• Step3:Download and Open Root Genius Application on your Windows Computer

• Step4:Once Root Genius Application is Launched, Connect smart Phone to the Computer

• Step5:Once phone is Connected , it will be automatically detected

• Step6:Click on “Root Now” Button to begin the process

• Step7:Now Root Genius will automatically Root the Smart Phone and will install the KingUser Application

• Step8:Now Sumsung Smart Phone is Rooted

• Step9: Open Applications Menu to Check Smart Phone is Successfully Rooted. KingUser will be available in apps if Phone is successfully Rooted

• Optional: We can verify by “Root Checker“ whether Phone is rooted or not…

How to UnRoot ….

• To UnRoot your Device, Open KingUser on your Device > Settings > Remove Root Permission

Flashing….

• Flashing - it could refer to flashing your phone with firmware -then it means that you install another (usually newer) version of software provided by producer for your phone.

Flashing could also mean flashing a non-official/custom ROM -then it means installing non-official ROM (modified system files package) to achieve better performance, more features etc.
