CompositionDifferent angles
Lighting
Shooting from a different angle will give your product more of a personality as opposed to a straight-on image conveying a more “catalog” feel.
If possible, try shooting in natural light, unless you’re in a professional studio. Nothing good ever came from fluorescent light bulbs.
Natural light will help the colors in your images work best when you go to drop them in your editing software. Best times are after 5 p.m. or a cloudy day.
Try shooting from a higher or lower perspective or from eye level.
BackgroundMake sure your background is free from any distracting elements. You want your product to be the main focus. Try using a solid-color backdrop, or make the background compliment your subject.
