CAPTURING DELIGHT{FULL} MOMENTS

Each month, residents and 4-and-5-year-olds from the local Head Start gather to color and enjoy time together.

Donning official T-shirts, residents and staff visited three local restaurants and enjoyed a cold brew for the St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl. Read more and watch a fun video from WDAY News: http://www.wday.com/event/article/id/94753/publisher_ID/29/.

Each spring, NDSU professor Alan Zuk brings a small class of horticulture students to Touchmark along with various plants, pots, soil, and seeds. Together with residents, they plant everything from tulips to catnip and tomatoes and basil. The professor will return later this spring to help with aromatherapy container gardens.

A group of ladies spent the afternoon swapping stories and snacking on hors d’oeuvres while sampling four different wines. Massage therapist Brenda Nelson hosted the women’s winetasting event and provided shoulder massages.

The spring tradition returned. Beanbag Tournament with team members (aka, Kari’s Kittens) vs residents (aka, Tony’s Tigers). After a victory for both teams—and three overtimes— the Tigers won.
