To achieve a level of performance that integrates the site into the local landscape and creating a perfect harmony between play areas and surroundings, ProGolf uses shaping team with demonstrated experience in the international market.

For a rigorous implementation of the project, respecting the designed areas and grades, ProGolf uses modern equipment for measurement and control.

• Earth movements are monitored and embankment slopes and depths of lakes are accurately measured with topographic equipment.

• Designed green and tee grades are accurately respected.

• The courses are seeded according to the most advanced technologies like hydro seeding, which allows the execution of this task without damaging the finishing.

• Constant attention is paid to all details of the irrigation installation system in order to make sure it functions correctly without gaps in coverage.

• The machinery used is the result of selections and adjustments made over the years, allowing for a high definition finishing.

• The materials used will always comply with the specifications and if necessary we use laboratory analyses to measure and assure quality, using the standards of the USGA.

The result of this precision is a guarantee of having a golf course that follows the design intention of the signature designer.

All executive positions at ProGolf are occupied by professionals fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish & French Some team leaders of our crew are Moldavians and Romanians, wish speak also Russian This enables a complete interaction between owners, designers and most laborers and foreigners, avoiding miscommunication that can result in schedule delays or misinterpretation of crucial tasks for the full success of the project. While we endeavor to enlist local labor, all our machine operators, shapers, technical and irrigation leaders are experienced in all facets of golf course construction; while performing to the highest standards; mentoring and directing local labor.

• Currently we have one active project in Brazil and have the capacity to run 2-3 projects concurrently internationally. We pride ourselves in detailed and quality delivery for our clients and will only ever engage in select projects through personal referrals.

• Experience gained in the execution of courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Nick Faldo, Martin Hawtree, Howard Swan, Christy O’Connor, Santana da Silva, among others. We are also currently reviewing select projects with Ernie Els Design.

the teaM

The hallmark and true value of ProGolf is its management team. Comprised of three professionals from different areas, witch complement each other and guarantee the constant quality of services. Benjamim Silva specializes in building golf courses and oversees the implementation of the project with his experience and constant involvement on site from beginning to end; Gil Zdanowski has a Master’s Degree in finance and administration and ensure perfect control and utilization of companies resources; and Antonio Carlos Miranda is a constant presence in the direction of the projects, and also jointly responsible for implementing the work.

Benjamim neves da silva

has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Algarve. Specializes in the construction of golf courses and masterlanned landscaping, with over 20 golf courses completed during his career, he is proud to count the iconic Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, an 18-hole signature course designed by Gary Player, in UAE ; Amendoeira Golf Club Algarve, 36-hole, designed by Nick Faldo and Christy O’Connor Jr; and Portugal’s number 1 course and Top 5 in Europe Monterei Golf Club, the first Jack Nicklaus signature course in Portugal as highlights of his portfolio. He is fluent in English, French and Portuguese.

Gil Bernardo jacques Zdanowski

graduated in Business Administration. He has extensive experience in the development of investment properties, including condominium projects and resorts with golf courses. The last golf project he managed, he functioned as the owner’s representative at Pinheirinho Golf Estates, Portugal, a 27-hole Championship Golf Course designed by Santana da Silva and Cabell Robinson.

antónio carlos miranda

holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro. He has been associated with Benjamin since 1998 and has worked with architects like M. Hawtree, Gary Player and Santana da Silva, among others. Brazil is heralding the return of Golf in the Olympics in 2016, and he is responsible for ProGolf activities there since 2010, setting a new standard in the construction of golf course with the countries’ first signature design.
