WHAT IS THE MEDIA ASSOCIATE PROGRAM? Each year Access Intelligence offers a rotation program for recent graduates. The Associates cycle through four rotations throughout the course of a year and touch

upon the core business functions of a media company, which include Sales, Marketing, Event Management, E-Media, and Editorial. Although the exact

rotations change each year depending on the Associates’ interests and AI’s business needs, the program instills a deep understanding of several different industries while

allowing each participant to determine where their career interests lie.

Our past Associates have worked with some of these industry-leading products:

“Towards the end of my senior year, I was looking for a position that was all encompassing, especially since I wasn’t sure what I really wanted to do. I thought the Media Associate would be a great way to

explore and learn the different aspects of the publishing industry while giving me a chance to narrow down my career path.”

WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE A ROTATION PROGRAM?

The rotation program offers the opportunity to try out several different business areas before starting your career. By challenging yourself to work in an area you might not have otherwise considered, you’ll strengthen not only your business knowledge, but your leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.

“I wanted an opportunity to explore my options while also gaining valuable experience. AI exposed me to career paths I never would’ve known I was interested in had I not had this opportunity.” Rebecca Lincks, 2012-2013 Associate; Current E-Media Marketing Manager

“What really drew me to the Associate program was that I could gain a lot of new experiences without having to choose just one specific path right away. What I really found out about myself during college

was how far my interests extended. In a way, the Associate program embodied the natural array of interests that I had found in college.“

Education: Lehigh University, Class of 2013 Global Studies Major; Minors in Business and Graphic Design Internships: Marketing and event support for 5280 Magazine; PR & Graphic Design for Vista Magazine in Florence, Italy Rotations:

HOW IS THIS PROGRAM DIFFERENT FROM OTHER ROTATION PROGRAMS?

The Media Associate program allows Access Intelligence to cultivate future leaders for our organization. In addition to working in several different business areas, you’ll also have the chance to explore several different industries, which is something that most companies can’t offer. At the conclusion of your program, we’ll sit down with you to determine where you best fit within Access Intelligence to ensure your continued success. We’ve hired past Associates into permanent positions like Sales Representative, Marketing Manager, and Events Coordinator. As an entry level position, the Media Associate program also offers the opportunity to dive in to meaningful work from Day One. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Publishers, Directors, and Vice Presidents to complete projects that contribute to AI’s bottom line. Updated 2014

“Throughout the whole program I've learned more than I thought would be possible during 3 month rotations. I was able to get over some of my fears (sales) and be a part of some great projects. I've been

given great amounts of responsibilities, but when you have a strong team supporting you it's a lot of fun.“
