‘Wrap itself around the user, conforming to their individual needs’

‘Internet based businesses would constantly learn about the user and adapt their deliver’

'Companies would be able to deliver to individuals, not to masses and they would have to do this well if they wanted to stay ahead’.

So was I wrong about the internet enabling companies to deliver to individual needs?

In part 'Yes' and in part 'No'...

For as we know, it’s still sometimes difficult to get good customer service when things go wrong

Once a sale has been made and the service delivered, we still don't see much in the way of individualised service, but...

Before the sale or delivery, changes are really happening fast.

New services are developing:-services to improve shopping online-design of products specific to you,

and services to control the way the technology in your world works are not far behind

…if you look at sales and customer acquisition, it's a different story

Most importantly, the delivery of information (in the form of entertainment and things you need or want to know) is changing rapidly and the rate of this change is going to increase
