DESCRIPTION

Thumbvista specializes in sending a more targeted mobile messaging via location and demographics. Location-Based Marketing (LBM) is defined as the use of marketing to target mobile users within a certain geographic area to increase effectiveness. A businesses can send SMS (Text), Push Messages via App, Mobile (banner) ads & more to people who have been located by using GPS or cell tower triangulation. We use cell tower triangulation and SMS so that any mobile device that has been opted-in can receive the message. That way it does not matter whether the consumer has a smartphone or an App downloaded. Having the ability to engage customers based on their real time location changes marketing. A Geofence is a virtual perimeter designated around a point or encompassing an area. The Geofence can trigger notifications of devices that enter, leave or dwell in the area by using location technologies.

A marketer can set multiple Geofences with strategic dates & times. Our system checks the location of all opted-in devices in conjunction with the geofenced area.

Our system then sends a unique, targeted message to opted-in users via SMS or MMS based on their current location or demographics.

STEP 1. The mobile user must initiate opt-in process. With the non-app version of location-based messaging, there is no app to download; only an opt-in required.

This can be accomplished through a web form, by scanning a QR code, texting a keyword, etc.

STEP 2. The mobile user only receives unique, location-based messages, meaning they won’t be bombarded every time they enter the area.

Messages are only received if the user is within the designated area at the scheduled time. Once the user receives the message they will have the ability to link to special pages and even share with friends nearby.
