8 Problems - 1 Solution
Common Problems The New Inferno Steam Hose
1. Inner subject to popcorning superior gas-tight and extruded inner
2. Outer layer blowing Outer layer extruded and pin-pricked
3. Metal braid rusting 2 layers of brass laminated steel braid
4. Hose markings unclear Clear spiral marking
5. Premature aging New heat and weather resistant cover
6. Hose kinking Double braid prevents kinking
7. Static charge build up Electrically conductive to allow discharge
8. Fittings leaking DINBO Couplings 100% leak-proof to EN ISO 14423

Solution
A mirror smooth, homogeneous, seamless extruded tube made of
a new butyl rubber with a very high gas density
– EPDM 1,0 cc/sec/m2
– Butyl 0,3 cc/sec/m2

Solution
Double braided steel inlays are brass-coated for optimum
corrosion resistance
Stainless Steel inlays also available

Solution: extruded EPDM outer
• UV Resistant
• Wear Resistant

7. Problem: Static Generation
Static is created by the collision of the water and the vapour
molecules in the steam. This friction creates a static electricity
charge

Solution
The BR8 Inferno steam hose is electrically conductive when
measured between the fittings (< 102 Ω )
The rubber compound has a resistance of less than 106 Ω
