The Multiplied ViewHyundai Xcent with Google Maps Street View

The Idea

At the dealership, we rig a Hyundai Xcent car’s windows with rear projection film to visualize how a Hyundai Xcent can help someone step up in life.

To step into the car, the patron has to unlock the car with his Google+ account, automatically sharing his participation in the activity at the Hyundai Dealership

A patron can then step inside the car and choose to virtually drive his Hyundai Xcent in famous locations around the world through projections of Google Street View

The Idea

For example, if the patron chooses to drive down Sunset Boulevard, the projection on his car’s windshield, windows and rear window is of the street view at that location in Los Angeles

He can steer using the car’s steering wheel, accelerate and slow down, just like he could if he were actually driving a Hyundai XCent in that location.

We create videos out of the reactions of the patrons to this technology and compile them in an interview-based case study for YouTube.
