Now in its 5th year as a sponsor/partner, MOR-TV has elevated its presence and impact on Tampa Bay Comic Con. As one of the Southeast’s largest events, Tampa Bay Comic Con continues to set attendance records at The Tampa Convention Center, and continues to providecontent, branding opportunities, and drive ratings and views on MOR platforms. This was the biggest yet!

In 2016 MOR:

• Had the largest brand presence ever with large 19 foot and 15 foot banners staged in the main ballroom lobby of the event.

• Had strong brand presence on the exhibit hall floor on step and repeat walls throughout the hall, and our booth.

• MOR brought in Cosplay (costume play) character “The Real Life Peter Griffin” to help represent the MOR brand throughout TampaBay Comic Con. We shot promos, and content for a post-show 30 minute special. The Real Life Peter Griffin was a hit. We branded him with a special MOR cape that he wore, plus he also had on a branded MOR lanyard.

• We executed a special web based scavenger hunt based on the popular Pokemon Go concept, where attendees had to go to our website to find PokieMOR characters in order to win a prize.This became a big social and web driver for us.

• While at Tampa Bay Comic Con we shot content that would go into a 30-minute post event special on Tampa Bay Comic Con and would feature Harley Quinn Comic writer and Tampa Bay Resident, Jim Palmiotti.

We continue to find fun and unique ways to build our brand and station presence at Tampa Bay Comic Con. It continues to be one of our core annual events that we’ll continue to build and develop with our Tampa Bay Comic Con marketing partners. Take a look.
