Google Gallery: 16 Years of Search Results

The “Google Gallery,” as compiled by Overdrive Interactive, is a visual portrayal of the evolution of Google’s search results page. From Google’s 1998 incorporation to present day in June 2014, we attempted to apply a timeline to the rollout of various features seen on the results page.

All data and images in this presentation were captured on or prior to May 5, 2014. We recognize that Google is constantly changing its results page and, as such, items in this presentation are subject to change.
