The top ten include only two non-European countries, namely Singapore (2) and the United States (9). The March EFE newsletter also addresses the idea that behaving in a judgmental way causes us to not be adequate learners. Although, it's not impossible to change our judgmental behavior. Innovative leaders of companies in particular are not afraid to ask the difficult questions and to inquisitive about their industries. Leaders must always be in the learning mindset in order to not fall into judgmental behavior. For leaders, the impact that having a learning mindset has on their own behavior can be profound, but it also influences those around them. By building a space safe enough for those around them to be learners and ask questions instead of operating within a ring fence of judgments or assumptions can yield innovative and creative environments for both leaders and employees.
