What is Crowdfire?• Crowdfire is a fantastic app for following and unfollowing users on Twitter
and Instagram. • You can find who has unfollowed you, recently followed you, the people who
don’t follow you back, search for people by hashtags and a few other ways too. You can also find people who follow your competitors, or other accounts.
• Lastly, you can set up automatic DMs to sent to new followers to try and engage them.
• There is now a publish feature, which allows you to post content to your social channels

Getting rid of inactive users• Who wants to follow people who haven’t
tweeted in 6 months or more? They aren’t adding any value to you or your business.
• Go to the Inactive Following tab, and select 6 months icon.
• You will be shown a list of those who haven’t tweeted in that time frame that you follow, click the red icon next to their name to unfollow them.

Dealing with unfollowers• In the free version of Crowdfire you will be allowed to unfollow 100
people per day and no more. • To find who has unfollowed you, simply click the Recent Unfollowers tab
and scroll through the list. • Notice not all of the people in the list will have the red unfollow icon
next to their name, this is because you haven’t followed them and don’t need to unfollow them.
• You can also see when the user unfollowed you, in this example they unfollowed me only 9 minutes before I checked Crowdfire!

New followers• If you have new followers, it’s a good idea to take a look at who they
are and follow the ones who are relevant to your business back.• If you don’t, they may soon be in your Recent Unfollowers section.• As you can see below, I am already following this new follower, and he
followed me back one day before I checked Crowdfire. If I wasn’t already following this user, I would follow back because he is relevant to Live And Social and who we work with. There may be a lot of users who do not seem relevant to your business in the new followers section, I suggest you only follow the right people back.

Copy followers• To find the followers of competitors or
relevant Twitter accounts, click the Copy Followers tab.
• Enter the @username of the account and the list (shown on the right) will populate.
• You can then follow up to 25 of these users straight away (per day on the free version)
• Alternatively, add the users you want to a Twitter list by clicking Add To List to the right of the user’s name.

Automatic DMs• Visit the automate tab to set up an automatic DM. • Simply type in a message or enter a few if you wish, and your new DM will
be sent to all new followers your channel gains.

Posting to social media• Publishing is a relatively new feature on
Crowdfire. To get to the tab, find the icons shown to the right in the top left hand corner of your screen on the app or web version.
• You will then need to select the channel to post on (most like on Hootsuite) and then type your update. Add a link if you want to and an image.
• You can then publish is straight away or schedule it.
