Create Your Own AppMenu Marketing Tips

1. Drive Setup- From the CMS

● go to Account and click on ‘Drive Setup’● click ‘Create Installer’ to initiate your app to be built● wait 20min - 24hours, check back to see if your apps

have been built● once they are built you can either download the app or

your can share the link location for others to download and install to their:

a. computer b. tabletc. phoned. usbe. All of the above

- Good to know:● links can be hosted on a webpage● IOS Apps need to submitted to the Play Store● Android Apps can be submitted to the Play Store;

however, it installs easy without● Run your create installer at the very beginning so you

can preview your work as you design● Run your create installer when you are ready to

distribute.

2. Appearance - Colors:

● Font Color = Color of the font of your menu items for the PC/MAC and color wheel on your mobile device.

● Highlight = Color of the main body text and color around refresh button

- Background:● Upload a 1010X730 graphic to represent your brand

and compliment the Vie App template● Integrate navigational tools and brand logos

- Font:● Select a font size and type: Preferred is Arial 14 or any

at 14- Logo:

● Optional logo area. Suggested to build this into your background. Do not upload anything here

- Menu:● Leave as is. This function has been temporarily

disabled.

3. About (or Name of your choice)

- From the CMS

● Add text by using the online Wyswig Editor● Embed html or javascript = Content Rich fully

interactive content● Add pictures/graphics with direct links to webpages● Keep the user inside the About area or redirect to

internet.

- From the App frontend● Text will appear in the window when the user clicks

‘About’ (or the name you choose)● Forms, websites, widgets are viewable from within the

app window● When a Pictures or graphic is clicked it will redirect to a

direct URL. ● Redirects can be set to show the content from within

the Vie Drive or to take a user to another browser. This is controlled by the administrator.

Scenario for use:

Intranet - Called it their LOGIN or SIGN IN area. Placed a linked graphic attached to a URL to pull the account login area into the inside of the Vie App.Education - Coach uses the area for student registrationProduct - Company Displays their #1 product campaign, allows for subscription, purchasing and contact info. Keeps the title as About.Entertainment - A band embeds their event calendar widget written in javascript and calls it their TOUR Healthcare - Login/Sign in areaRetail - Had an html page built to showcase the hottest designs, purchasing and specials. Calls it the AboutHospitality - Calls it FEATURED: Features a new venue in the city every week, information on how to contact, get directions, operating hours.Doctor - Uses it as a traditional About page and features ways to reach him, and schedule appts.

4. Video (or Name of your choice)

- From the CMS

● Upload a Youtube● Copy the Youtube’s lolong address from your browser

and paste● Change the name of your video for the tip tool● Up to 100

- From the App frontend● Uploaded videos can play without the internet● Streaming videos will play with an internet connection● Name of video will display as your tip tool when you

run your mouse across the thumbnail

● Add content with text, graphics and links directly into the Wyswig editor pulling data into the same window.

● Add html or javascript embed codes into a new article using the ‘<>’ symbol to open the html window.

● Single out an RSS feed● 100 articles can be created and active

- From the App frontend● Clickable graphics can link you directly to the

information you need and stay within the Vie Drive window.

● Content rich script displays in the viewer revealing a beautiful design of your custom page or form.

● The RSS reader displays a simple view of the post description and date

● This menu will show active articles within the News/content area

corner and run vertically down the page.● Icons are hyperlinks that re-direct app users to your

● go to Accounts, go to Analytics● click the item you’d wish to see the summary stats for
